BIRD LUNNITSA - The lunnitsa or (little moon lady) was a symbol of the moon and it's fertility and worn only by married women. This replica of a 8th century piece found at a burial site in Nitra-Lupka, Poland, shows the double birds. These birds possibly represent the mother and daughter Goddesses, Lada and Liela or perhaps the Earth and Sky gods in their role of creators - centuries before the two headed Eagle.
GRAPE LUNNITSA - The lunnitsa or (little moon lady) was a symbol of the moon and it's fertility and worn only by married women. This replica of a 9th century piece found at a burial site in Dolni Vestonice in Czech Republic has the traditional "grape" design called so for it's many raised circles. These "grapes" are believed to further strengthen the amulet's ability to attract fertility and prosperity.
BABA YAGA - When approached with reverence and respect, Baba Yaga/Jaga could reward you with riches, both physical and spiritual, that you couldn't even dream of. When approached with rudeness or a lack of willingness to work, she might eat you. As guardian of the waters of life, this terrifying crone is also she who rules the realms of magic and healing. This piece is in bronze and is 1 1/4 X 1 1/4 inches.
